Norwich Dragons (6) 4 - Beccles 2

The game started off evenly with the play being split between both sides. At 15 mins in Beccles had a shot at the goal which ended in Beccles gaining a penalty, and an amazing flick by Siobhan Dade made it to the back of the goal. Again, the play evened out between both sides before Dragons scored the equaliser to finish the first half at 1-1. The 2nd half Beccles really pulled together as a team and fought hard. Ali was consistent in defence despite being moved to different positions throughout the game, and Ruth made a strong return to the game after injury a few weeks ago managing to play 3 quarters of the game. Both teams had several attempts on goal but another error from Dragons gave Beccles their second penalty. Again, Siobhan put an amazing flick in above the goalie’s head. However, Dragons came out on top scoring 3 more goals, with the final score of the match ending at 4 - 2.
