Club history

Beccles Ladies Hockey Club was founded in 1966, originally playing home games at Sir John Leman High School.

Today, the team plays at Langley School in nearby Loddon.

The club consists of one small, friendly team playing every Saturday throughout the season, with games from September to April.

At the end of the 2015/16 season the ladies team finished in second place, earning promotion to Division 1 of the Empresa Women's League. In 2021 some of the leagues were merged and the tables reorganised. Beccles now plays in the East Women's Division 4 North East.
